About one month ago I took a beginning knitting class at Joann's. I practiced and ripped out and practiced and ripped out. I dropped stitches that I couldn't fix and got frustrated. I finally completed a scarf that my adorable granddaughter is wearing. My next completed project was the hat I made for myself. I made a hat to match for Kinsley but I unfortunately miscalculated her head size, and it will make a nice present for my friend Susan who is expecting a baby girl in June. My next project was a cotton dish cloth. When I first met someone who was spending her time knitting a dish cloth, I thought it was such a waste of time. Since then I've discovered how much everyone loves these dish clothes (including myself) and I've made 5 of them. Right now my projects are a sock (my biggest challenge so far), another dish cloth, and a scarf. And so the "addiction" began...
